Self-Guided Tour

Some key elements of Wardenclyffe are clearly visible from outside of TSCW’s perimeter fence. We welcome visits from those driving by who want an informal self-guided experience.

Parking is available on Tesla Street on the east side of Wardenclyffe. From there, visitors can walk along the perimeter fence to view and photograph some of the important features of the site, including the exterior of the laboratory, the original stone base where Tesla’s 18-story transmitting tower once stood, and a bronze statue of Tesla. Two information kiosks outside the fence by the statue provide additional information and photos.
