On Tuesday, March 18, 2025, Tesla Science Center at Wardenclyffe (TSCW) brought together regional leaders, innovators, and sustainability advocates for a special networking and update event focused on the future of renewable energy on Long Island. The event was held at Zebra Technologies in Holtsville and welcomed both current and prospective TSCW partners.
This event marked the first of TSCW’s quarterly partner gatherings—one of the many exclusive benefits of being a TSCW Partner. Hosted to foster meaningful collaboration and shared progress, the gathering provided a forum for partners to stay informed, connect with decision-makers, and engage in conversations that help shape the region’s clean energy future.
Attendees received an update from Marc Alessi, Executive Director of TSCW, who shared the latest progress at the historic Wardenclyffe site and the organization’s plans to further Nikola Tesla’s legacy in renewable energy.
A panel discussion followed, moderated by Sammy Chu, CEO of Edgewise Energy, and featuring Rob Calarco, Assistant Secretary for Long Island Intergovernmental Affairs; Theresa Santoro, Senior Director of Community & Government Relations at the New York Power Authority; Will Frost, Senior Project Developer at East Point Energy; and Richard Murdocco, Vice President of Marketing at SUNation Energy. The panel explored renewable energy initiatives, infrastructure needs, and innovations shaping Long Island’s path toward a cleaner and more resilient energy future.
The event concluded with a networking session and open Q&A, offering attendees the chance to connect with fellow partners and regional stakeholders working to advance sustainable solutions across the region.
More than just a networking opportunity, TSCW partnership provides a unique platform to align with groundbreaking initiatives, collaborate on transformative projects, and play an active role in shaping the future of innovation on Long Island. Partners also gain access to the TSCW Partnership Council, where they can engage with visionary leaders in technology, sustainability, and philanthropy.
