We are thrilled to invite you to a historic event that marks the beginning of a new era for Tesla Science Center at Wardenclyffe. On April 27 at 1:00 pm, we will be breaking ground on the construction of the Eugene Sayan Visitor Center and site demolition. This is a pivotal moment in the effort to create a museum and learning center at the site.

We want to take this opportunity to express our deepest gratitude for your continued support, generosity, and belief in our mission and vision. Thanks to you, we have been able to make major strides toward honoring Nikola Tesla’s legacy and inspiring future generations to pursue their passions in science and innovation.

The Eugene Sayan Visitor Center will provide a space for visitors to learn about the life and work of Nikola Tesla and his contributions to science and technology. It will also give us the ability to be open to the public, expand programming, and test some exhibits while listening to the community as we work towards creating the interior design of Nikola Tesla’s Wardenclyffe laboratory.

We are excited to share this milestone with you and celebrate the future of the center. The ceremony will include speeches from special guests, a ceremonial shovel turning, and refreshments.

This project is made possible through the generous funding of Mr. Eugene Sayan, CEO of Softheon, and an Empire State Development grant from New York State. This phase of the project will also remove approximately 110,000 sq ft of non-historical dilapidated buildings surrounding Nikola Tesla’s Wardenclyffe Laboratory, giving us the opportunity to finalize the exterior design and work towards preserving the exterior of the building.

Please join us for this historic event as we break ground on the Visitor Center. The ceremony will be held on April 27, at 1:00 pm at Tesla Science Center at Wardenclyffe, located at 5 Randall Road, Shoreham, NY 11786.
