Tesla Science Center at Wardenclyffe
The Plan
At TSCW, we are embarking on a bold journey to reimagine Wardenclyffe’s historic 16-acre campus as a global hub of imaginative thinking and innovation. Guided by the pioneering spirit of Nikola Tesla, our vision is to transform this landmark into a beacon for science, education, and creativity—attracting diverse audiences from around the world and inspiring the next generation of innovators.
The Eugene Ugur Sayan Visitor Center
The Visitor Center will feature a dedicated exhibit hall and a classroom for onsite programming—a welcoming space where visitors can explore Tesla’s life and work, engage with hands-on science and technology exhibits, and participate in innovative programs. This center will enable us to expand access, test new exhibits, and gather valuable community feedback.
Tesla’s Laboratory
At the heart of the visitor experience, Tesla’s historic laboratory—designed in 1901 by renowned architect Stanford White—will be transformed into a dynamic museum celebrating Tesla’s genius. This 10,000-square-foot structure will feature immersive exhibits that highlight his groundbreaking work and demonstrate its enduring relevance to our modern world.
Education for the Future
Tesla’s belief in invention will come alive through cutting-edge science exhibits and public EdTech programming, delivered both onsite and virtually. Our mission is to inspire innovation and foster collaboration among emerging inventors of all ages, nurturing the curiosity and creativity that drive discovery.
